We were disappointed with the room's cleanliness. there were hairs in the bathroom and issues with the AC unit. It made the stay less comfortable than we hoped.

staying at drop anchor resort & marina felt like a home away from home. the location is close to all the best spots, and they have free bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards! the hammocks were a nice touch too. i have to mention how great the staff was. they were super friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved the charming, vibrant decor and well-maintained grounds at Drop Anchor Resort & Marina. The accessible outdoor areas, complete with picnic tables and hammocks, made it easy for me to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Bathroom could use more ventilation for humidity.

The room was clean and comfortable. It had a good shower and plenty of towels. The mini fridge and coffee pot with coffee were nice touches. The A/C worked great, which is a must in Florida. I liked the island vibe, really made it feel like a getaway. Overall, it looked just like the pictures online and was perfect for a quick stay.

I loved being just a short walk away from the beautiful Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park, which made our weekend strolls so enjoyable. The nearby History of Diving Museum offered fascinating insights into the area's maritime heritage. even though it wasn't a gourmet restaurant, I had the best, most mouthwatering sweet potato fries at a local eatery, with friendly service that made for a pleasant dining experience.
